Being Creative

I view the garden in my mind as a sacred patch of cosmic real estate that the universe has entrusted me to tend over the years of my lifetime.

Discerning is central to unfolding. We learn to discern our fundamental priority so that it doesn’t get buried beneath the noise of everyday life and countless distractions. We learn to discern where our thoughts and feelings are carrying us throughout the day. We become aware of our blind spots and our prejudices, so that we can factor them in when making an important decision. The Feature uses the metaphor of improving the signal to noise ratio to illustrate many aspects of this process of staying focused on unfolding. Inspiration describes discernment in terms of keeping attuned to the quiet voice of the Divine Mother, while leading an active life filled with many voices. Through cultivating our capacity to discern, we actively engage in life, weaving our yearning for the Divine into the fabric of every day.
